This is my very first tutorial (for graphics), so bear with me as I explain the steps on how to create various graphics that I’ve made in the past. First off I’d like to explain how I made the small dangling wires you can see on my website’s header and footer. It’s particularly very easy so I decided to start with that one.

I’ve had my laptop for about six months now, and lately I’ve been getting the dreaded blue screen. It would show up about a few times a week, which would leave me no choice but to force restart. I thought first it could’ve been the k-lite codec I’ve installed recently, so I uninstalled that. After unsintalling, I didn’t get the blue screen for a couple of days but it appeared again (argh). The blue screen would appear more frequently the following days and I began to notice that I’ve been getting a lot of CRC errors. I get it while trying to extract downloads, and installing programs. So I figured it must be a virus or something, what I did was reformat and reinstall all my software. This made the system stable again, but after a few days the blue screen would pop up again and CRC errors would still show. I googled for solutions to no avail.

Well, I’ve had this AIO printer for a while now. I’ve researched a bit before buying it, reading the advantages and disadvantages, as I usually do. I was actually debating between the HP Officejet 5610 and Canon MP530. Obviously I ended up with the Canon

The primary deciding factor was really the look of the printer and it’s functionality. What I was looking for was in the MP530. Although canon had more expensive ink than HP it costs a bit less to print per page. So, that just about evens it up I think.

I’ve finally finished setting up my new website. Didn’t take that long though. Anyway, let me know what you think of the new layout. It’s a bit dark, was going for the industrial look.

I started this layout back when i was still in the Philippines. I’ve only gotten the time to finish it lately, after a few months of trying to arrange my papers here in the US.

Yep, I just moved here in the US, I’ve been here for about four months now. Still trying to adjust with everything, primarily the language. Kidna hard getting used to speaking english when I’ve mostly been speaking tagalog my whole life, hehe. Writing and speaking english are two totally different things. Although I am getting used to it (just a bit).

One thing I do like though is the driving condition here. Not as much traffic as in the Philippines. Different traffic rules and type of driving. Although I do miss my wreckless driving in the Philippines, being behind the wheel here is a lot more relaxing. No more stress of Jeepneys and buses cutting you off, or suddenly stopping in the middle of the road (I miss it sometimes, but not that much…hehe). The weather here is pretty nice too, not as hot and humid, it does get a bit hot in the afternood, but it’s bearable. And as summer is ending here it’ll be a lot colder soon, I hope. One thing I also noticed here is that the days seem to go by a lot faster, I don’t know if that’s a good thing for everyone, for me it is.

But, of course, I miss my family and friends back there in the Philippines, the laid back lifestlye, and my work (yest i said work! hehe). Although, I do like my life here with my wife! I love being with her, and it makes everything worthwhile.

so…my f$#%n’ hard disk just decided to die last night…that’s just great!!!
my PC won’t start when my primary hard disk is connected…although when i disconnect it, the loading continues but since it’s just the secondary that’s running it won’t run windows…it’s a shame.

i just bought this hard disk a few months ago…now i fear it’s totally dead.

all my work and designs i’m afraid are now gone…damn it!!! …all that’s left now is the new layout i’m making for my website…which i have almost finished, but the backup i have is only half done (sigh)…don’t know if i’m gonna finish it now.

oh…and all my pictures are gone too…f#$@!!! …that’s even worse!!! …i backed up some of it…but all the new one’s are gone now…i’m still hoping there’s some way to retrieve some of it somehow…please let there be a way!!! …gonna have it checked later.

…great way to start the f$%#in’ year!!! f@%$!!!

…this is just depressing.

…maybe it’s a sign…stop spending too much time on the pc….move on to other things…(sigh)

here’s a beta release of my skin formerly known as nnc (nonamecrap), welcome omron…this skin has been in progress for more than a year now…too tired to code…hehe.
it’s just a beta release so not all of it is finished, but do report any bugs that you may encounter. the component windows are not yet done. i think i’ll have more time to finish this when the holidays are over. Also if anyone wants to contribute a color theme please do so. thanks!
